The perfect spot for great vinesLocated in Clearlake Oaks, Lake County, Lake County Grapevine Nursery (LCG) is the northernmost and perhaps the most isolated of California grapevine nurseries, situated at the end of a stunningly beautiful ten-mile drive, 1,200 feet above sea level. At the nursery The LCG Nursery is home to 250 acres of well-drained sandy loam for the production of dormant benchgrafts and rootings. We have 55,000 square feet of greenhouses, our robust production facility, plus 15,000 square feet of cold storage. Family owned, family operated Eckhard Kaesekamp has over 20 years experience in the grapevine industry. He oversees the daily operations, combining time-tested traditional vine growing techniques with the best of modern approaches. Eckhard and his family live on the premises and take a thoroughly hands-on approach to the business.
